I’m in the process of moving my personal webpage on a fresh new WordPress.org account, with improved usability, more updated functionalities and new stuff I’m making. In few days this dotsandshadows address will come back to the initial dotsandshadows.wordpress.com state. I will use it as is in the upcoming months untill the fresh new page is ready to replace it.
When the site refresh will be complete I will update it more often with news, new projects, freebies and maybe also some tutorial…so stay tuned for it!
Thanks to the Architecture Academy from Andrew Price, I’m becoming every day more and more confident in material creation and modelling in Blender. This is what I’ve got after following the tutorial on the creation of curtains with Cycles.
After the beak you will find a picture showing the node setup for the curtain’s material.
Last week I joined the Architecture Academy course byAndrew Price, an online course subdivided in 7 modules and packed with many hours of tutorials, tips and knowledge. The project for the first week is to render an interior lounge room and because of this I’m preparing all the furniture and stuff that I will import in the scene. After the cushions it was the time for the couch to be modelled and so I decided to make a 3d version of the Florence Knoll Sofa. I will post this and other models on BlendSwap pretty soon, so stay tuned for more stuff from the Architecture Academy!
Modeling, lighting, texturing and compositing entirely made in Blender. Rendered with Cycles renderer.
Here we are again! With a fresh new scene I made for learning purposes. I found an interesting tutorial from Andrew Price and I accepted the challenge. A SciFi corridor entirely made in Blender and rendered with Cycles renderer. A great exercise tha covered every aspect from the modeling to the final compositing of the scene.
For a ceramic design exam i had to project some wall tiles. That’s the result! I’m pretty happy about it and I wanna share it with you all.
In the next days I will continue posting some old work like this one. I’m in the hard time of learning all I need for the interactive 3d experience I’m looking for, so…be patient and you will see as soon as possible the improvements! 😉
